KING OF PARIS
my passion for art
Ever before I could walk, a burning fire within to express myself through drawing existed. I was obsessed with drawing everything and everyone around me. I would draw portraits of my friends in charcoal and capture their essence. I experimented with water colors, oils, charcoals, sculpture and every medium I could get my hands on. I dabbled in all the arts, yet drawing and painting always felt like the purest form to get out my creative expresssions. There is nothing more liberating then expressing an idea with with the angst of a child with a modern crayon to canvas. I spill my emotions… love, hate, anger, wonder, amazement… woven into a narrative, that only I truly hold the story behind each piece. Never written, never told.

QUEEN OF THE SEA
When traveling through Europe I was facinated that Amsterdam was under sea level. When I was there, the air was incredibly moist. I felt like a fish under water. And, the buildings were being morphed and shaped by time into characters. They felt as though they were living and breathing. The centuries of the elements pushing and pulling the worn bricks, and I felt as though I was under water in magestic world, the Queen of the sea drawing manifested.
cauchemar
Walking through Amsterdam’s red light district in the dark late hours with pulsing lights, illicit temptations, strange characters—was a living nightmare. I felt as though the buildings were speaking to me, warped in the oddities of the night air.
